"Lowes", huh? That could describe their standards. But, not their prices. For what items cost, there, they could easily afford an occasional nighttime cleaning crew. The prices, here are high. That much I can understand, as there isn't much competition close by. But, the store is also very filthy. The floor was clean. But, the shelves with the food products...
It gets 2 stars for convenience only. They are very expensive. This store has no competition and they really stick it to you.
The employees are great, decent selection but usually really high prices. 2 stars because a large amount of the perishable items they carry (dairy products, meats, etc...) expire that day or are already expired. And they're not discounted either, still full price. I can never find the expiration date on any of their eggs. Tons of food goes to waste because not many customers want to buy nearly rotten items. They must keep the fresh food in the back for weeks and put it out for sale the same day it expires. Makes no sense. I now drive to Wickett or Odessa for most items on my grocery list.
The vegetables are in bad shape, the prices are ridiculous, and the selection is slim. Overall I'd say it's the best they can do but J.F. Christ.
