Wow sand dunes in the middle of nowhere. We had a great time just walking the dunes. The covered picnic areas were plentiful. We had a great time stretching our legs and having a picnic lunch. Then back on the road. I love road trips...you very no what you'll find!
Very piece full and quiet. Extremely nice staff and Rangers. Beautiful scenery. This is my second time to stay here. I will stay here each time I pass through.
Great place to experience the sand dunes for the first time. Day time gets too hot in summer, so went to cool down at Balmorhea nearby. Sunrise was special. Sledding was fun.
Great park. Camping by the dunes and historic sites. Very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend it.
This state park is well maintained. The restroom/showers were clean, but older. It is a smaller park than most I have seen, but looks like a nice place to stay, hike, and view nature.
