Nice motel but watch your credit card bill. Stayed 2 times in 10 days and both times they maid 2 charges on my credit card. For a total of 200 hundred extra. Called the manager and she said it was my credit card company's fault they made the extra charges. Didn't make since.
Horrible experience. Had stayed many times and was currently staying and re booked another room. After working for 12+hours get to the hotel and the Manager had canceled our rooms and sidnt even have the decency to inform us before driving back. With how late it was the only hotel near that had rooms was 2hrs away. Pretty disappointed but atleast I know my employees or I won’t be staying at another mircrotel. Especially in monahans
Microtel has nice rooms and is kept clean. Sometimes it's hard to find someone at the front desk, but it's usually bc they are working on something else around they hotel. Staff def stays busy. Wifi speed is great. My only complaint is that the pool has been shut down for 2 weeks now (I'm on an extended stay). There were some 100°+ days that would have been nice for a dip.
We arrived at the Hotel 11:15 p.m. with our reservation, received the keys and went to our room. Walked in and then noticed one bed was not made and towels were on the floor, so of course we went back to the front desk. She offered us a room with a rollaway bed or she could clean it. My son is 6'5", so a rollaway bed is not going to work. It took until 12:10 for her to finish. After working and 6 hour drive, I just wanted to go to sleep. We were in town due to family member passing away. So the next night you would think everything would be fine yet came back to find that room was NOT cleaned AGAIN and the tip I left was not touched. Luckily, I had hung my towel up yet I my son did not and the trash can was full and for the outrageous price, we should have stayed some where else. I know they have a monopoly on the market yet for the non-oil working travelers, maybe my post will make a difference. Stay away.
Brand new hotel, nice rooms and lobby. Good service overall. Only complaint would be the pool had quite the buildup of alge.
